The “Pirates in Action” group warms up with some snacks after their hat and mitten hayride this past weekend. The group has more activities upcoming including putting Christmas lights up in the City Park this weekend. See story below left. 

The fifth grade chorus sings “The Twelve Days of Christmas” during the Middle School concert last Tuesday, Dec. 6. 

Janet Richardson’s 2nd Grade class recently conducted a Spelling Bee. The winners were: 3rd place, Calvin Hinkelman, son of Aaron and Vicki Hinkelman, 2nd place, Max Fernandez, son of Jack and Tina Fernandez, and 1st place, Jake Bruner, son of Teel and Kellie Bruner. Bill Remacle of Cottonwood recently bagged this 7-point bull elk on Smith Ridge which drains into the North Fork of the Clearwater River. The left beam measured 51½ inches and the right beam measured 50¼”. Just before he saw the elk he slipped and fell, breaking the stock on his rifle, but still managed to get the bull.  


The Prairie Dance Team spelled out P-H-S near the end of their routine at halftime of the girls game last Thursday. They are shown above forming the P and the S.
