Hinterlong appointed to council
Jay Hinterlong of Cottonwood was appointed to fill a vacant position on the Cottonwood City Council at their regular June meeting Monday, June 12.
The vacancy came about when Bill Hill resigned his position last month. Hinterlong will assume Hill’s former position as water commissioner. . . .

Sixteen students had perfect 4.0 grade point averages for the second semester at Prairie High School.
They were Ashley Jackson, Adeline Lustig, Ashley Schaeffer and Dani Terhaar in the senior class; Shayla Dalgliesh, Kayla Uhlenkott and Kylie Uhlorn in the junior class; Sarah Arnzen, Josh Gabica, Jessica Gehring, Alex Richardson, Tiffany Schaeffer and Doris Whitley in the sophomore class and Laura Gehring and Kristi Poxleitner in the freshman class. . . .

Twenty-two students had all A’s on their report cards during the fourth quarter at Prairie Middle School.

Hospital offers Safe Sitter course

The Central Idaho Rodeo Association will hold a rodeo at the ‘Arena In The Pines’ in Winchester, Idaho on Fathers Day, Sunday June 18. . . .
