The 2009 Idaho County Fair Royalty were crowned last Friday evening. From left are Queen Kara Stefani, First Princess Mary Shears and Second Princess Rachel Kaschmitter. 

The 2008 Idaho County Fair Royalty made their final appearance at the Fair Parade.

Friends of 4-H award winners from left are Brooke Holthaus, luggage; Alicia Lothspeich, sewing machine and Chelsea Long, mixer.

Most of the Unusual entries in the Pigtail Contest. The young lady kneeling in front with the pigtail going straight up was judged the winner in the category.

The work crew started tearing off shingles at Holy Cross Chapel in Keuterville as the roof is being replaced. Anyone wanting to check out the workers or take pictures is asked to keep a healthy distance from the church for safety reasons. Work is expected to take 2-3 weeks. 
 
There was a huge crowd on the midway at the fair Saturday before the livestock sale.
