The National Guard has spent the past week bringing in topsoil and leveling out the new baseball and softball fields at the Prairie Sports Complex. Shown is the baseball field area (homeplate would be to the left) looking toward the football field. Last week the Guard unit had tents set up along the football field which had all been removed as of Tuesday morning.

The Cottonwood Lions Club tried out their new food trailer at the Consignment Sale Saturday. It replaces the old trailer which was in bad need of repairs that would have been very costly.
