Kyle Holthaus and Troy Lorentz are standing behind the desk that Kyle designed and built with Troy helping him in the cabinetmaking class. The desk is in the library at the high school. The majority of the materials, donated by Pacific Cabinets, was greatly appreciated. Roger Holthaus and Rick Workman helped the boys install the desk on their day off. Roger and Ricks help was also greatly appreciated.  Mrs. Wimer really appreciates having a new desk in her library. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Chris Kaschmitter of  the Prairie Booster Club is shown here with  softball coach Jeff Martin.  The  Prairie Booster Club has given  the softball team a donation to purchase a new bat for the  upcoming season.

Emanuel Baptist Church recognized Hunter Chaffee for becoming best friends with Jesus by completing the God and Me program.  (Matthew 19:14)  Hunter met the requirements of study and service for the study program, and has earned the right and privilege of wearing this emblem in recognition of the accomplishment.  He was presented a certificate of completion and a medal to be worn on his Class A uniform.  A special pray was said as the church body applauded his accomplishment. In the upper photo Hunter receives his award from Mike VanHouten. In the lower photo areMerannda Chaffee, Shari Chaffee, Bill Estabrooks (Christian Counselor), Pastor Dan Coburn, Vance Chaffee, Linda Chaffee and Hunter Chaffee after Hunter received his Religious Emblem.
