The Prairie Elementary School voted on student body officers last week. The new officers are from left to right: Brooklyn Riener--President, Reid Uptmor--Vice-President, Anna Kaschmitter--Secretary, Hayden Uhlenkott--Treasurer, Dean Johnson--5th grade representative, and Ellea Uhlenkott--5th grade representative. Tycie Peery, a 7th grader at Prairie Jr./Sr. High School was recently awarded the President’s Education Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. Along with the certificate shown she received a Presidential Academic Fitness Award lapel pin.

This week the Jr.high Teen Living class helped to beautify the high school by planting dogwood bushes in front of the new Jr high section of the building.  This spring they hope to continue on with the project.
