A regional multi-agency mass casualty exercise was held in Kamiah on April 25th.  The incident was a tour bus wreck with multiple injuries.  The purpose of the exercise was to see how well multiple agencies could work together.  Linda Beckman and Amy Phillips; EMTs for St. Mary’s Hospital are shown comforting a ‘victim’ at the scene of the bus accident.  (Look for a more detailed article in next week’s paper) Photo provided by Cheri Holthaus. Prairie Jr./Sr. High School Drama students are bringing to life “Shuddersome: Tales of Poe.” The dark side of Poe’s imagination starts to come alive on Wednesday, May 6 at 7 p.m. and again on May 9 at p.m. with both performance at the PHS gym. Admission is 43 per person. With two new drama teachers and involving both high school and jr. high students it was definitely a fun year. From learning what the teachers want and what the students are willing to do, all the way to having “dead” people get up and walk off stage. But it all pulls together as will be seen in the play. Cast and Crew are Kory Bahlman, Jordan Bowles, Beth Dinning, AJ Everson, Jon Goldmeer, Joe Jones, Stellina Laurino, Hope McIntire, Maria Munger, Madison Pecarovich, Ellea Poxleitner, Jacey Rambo, Noah Rieger, Laina Sonnen, Jared Spears, Kateline Spears, Kodie Tidwell, Rosie Trautman, Julia Wemhoff and Raven Yorke. Teachers are Mrs. Renee Eckert and Mr. David Young. Shown is a photo from rehearsals provided by Renee Eckert. Click on the photo for a larger view.
