Peter Arnoti, son of Ladd Arnoti, was in town last week and discovered that the trunk his father built to put all their worldly possessions in for their trip to the United States was located in Clarence Nuttman’s barn. Ladd apparently built it from timbers in the attic of the house they were renting and everything the family of 5 had for their trip to America was stowed in this trunk  when they came overseas by ship. You can see it wasn’t all that big as it easily fit in the back of Arnoti’s pickup with plenty of room to spare. Click on the photo for a larger view.

The right turn turnbay off of Highway 95 onto Greencreek Road appears to be nearly finished except for painting in the lines. Crea Construction (not Schacher as reported earlier) has been doing the work on both this turnbay and one off of Highway 95 onto Lake Road south of Fenn. Click on the photo for a larger view.

The Cottonwood Lions Club had a new sign made for the Foster’s Grave historical site on Cottonwood Butte Rd. Eggen Signs of Kamiah made the sign and Ed Wemhoff of the Lions Club had it mounted. Click on the photo for a larger view.
