Millie Wimer's PHS sewing students are shown with the baby blankets they made for St. Mary's Hospital to be given to each new born baby at the hospital. They are also holding the pillowcase they made to be given to the Shriner's Hospital in Portland. Jordyn Higgins was the winner of the quilt made by Mrs. Millie Wimer and her sewing classes.  This is a very special quilt as it is the final one to be made by Mrs. Wimer before she retires this spring.  Congratulations Jordyn.  Mrs. Wimer we will greatly miss you! Photo by Ryan Hasselstrom.

A late March snowstorm hit Cottonwood last Friday. It cleared up Saturday but the snow came back on Sunday and Monday.
