December Students of the Month at Prairie Jr./Sr. High School are from left, Jacey Rambo, high school; Connor Brown, junior high; and Carson Schmidt, high school. Jacey is an excellent student who works very hard in the classroom.  She was an active member of our cross country team, and she videos for the girls basketball team. Connor is pleasant and polite to teachers and classmates.  Connor strives to do his best in all assignments and is not hesitant to ask questions or ask if he can help out.  Carson is a ray of sunshine everyday with a huge smile for all that he meets!  He was active in football, and is playing basketball.  He is always the first to jump to help anyone in need, lifting or moving heavy objects. Eileen Uhlenkott took the above photo Sunday, Jan. 8, at the junction of Rocky Canyon and Graves Creek. Icicles down there are just beautiful. The focus of this picture is once it is enlarged you can see 2 sets of initials at the top of bluffs n just below the lone pine tree. Karla Enneking had told Eileen the responsible individual tied a rope around the tree n hung over the bluff while did the art work! Yeow! Photo by Eileen Uhlenkott. You can get an idea how much snow we’ve had by the size of the pile on the west end of The Tire Guy lot. As you can see the top of the pile isn’t far from the bottom of the candy cane Christmas decoration on the pole. And despite the size of the pile there was still a good size berm down the middle of Main Street which was a good 2+ feet high and 4-5 feet wide (berm was removed by ITD on Wednesday).
