Prairie Student Body Officers and HOSA members are shown presenting checks to Mary and Joyce Lorentz; Food Bank Volunteers for the St. Mary’s Hospital Food Bank.  As part of the Idaho County Shootout competition against Grangeville last December, the Student Body sold basketball signs and received donations from the community and HOSA members sold Shoot Out t-shirts.  Their combined efforts totaled over $6,350; which was donated to the Food Bank. We want to give credit to Virgil Wassmuth for building stands and making repairs to the Stations of the Cross Artwork that is on display at St. Anthony’s Church during Lent. Therese Schmidt helped with restoring one of the paintings. These paintings were saved from the old church that burned down in 1960. Stop by the church and see these beautiful pictures from the past. The Idaho County Fair Royalty will be holding a Princess Tea Party Sunday, March 19 at 1 p.m. at the Cottonwood Community Hall. Cost is $8 for the Little Princesses to attend.
