The 2019 Idaho County Fair Royalty were named last Friday night. From left are Queen Naomi Connolley, 1st Princess Clarissa Stevens and 2nd Princess Madison Adams. All three girls are from Grangeville. Click on the photo for a larger view.

On the return trip at the parade the 2019 royalty joined the 2018 royalty on the float. The new royalty had walked behind on the first pass. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Olivia Klapprich, who had the grand champion quality steer, got a little emotional while showing her steer during the livestock sale. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Rusty Lorentz was working Monday on a new lean-to that will provide cover for the outdoor musical acts at the Fair. It replaces the gazebo which had to be torn down after flooding last May rotted out the supporting timbers. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Ryan and Heather Uhlenkott and their partners are looking to remodel the former school district offices. They are still working n what to do with the rest of the old Elementary School.
