The First Cottonwood Summerfest is set for this weekend. Above is the main schedule. See article at left for several event flyers. You can also go to Facebook.com/CottonwoodSummerfest. Click on the photo for a larger view.

There are 7 young ladies vying to be part of the 2020 Idaho County Fair Royalty. Top from left are Dani Sonnen, Madison Shears, Halle Klapprich and Rose Sherrer. Bottom from left are Paige Layman, Cheyanne Brown and Kaylee Doughty. See article above left for bios. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Last week we had a photo of the city crew laying down some asphalt on Broadway. Apparently that was a base for the sealcoating they did later in the week. Broadway was being prepared for the heavy traffic it will be getting during harvest. Click on the photo for a larger view.

A sign is up on the southeast corner of the old Elementary schoolyard with a proposed plan of how it will be used. Click on the photo for a larger view.

The old entrance has now been bricked over as the Sisters Apartments work continues. Click on the photo for a larger view.

The north side of the Sisters Apartments is taking shape with sliding glass doors where we assume there will be balconies. Also the footings have been set for the entryway ramp that will lead to the main entrance in the middle. Click on the photo for a larger view.
