Pirates win twice
The Prairie Pirates won a pair of league games this past week. On Thursday, Jan. 27, they rallied from a double-digit deficit to defeat Clearwater Valley 58-53 at Cottonwood. On Friday, Jan. 28, they shut down Potlatch 50-27, also at Cottonwood. . . .
The home game against Kamiah scheduled for Feb. 1 has been rescheduled to Monday, Feb. 7 due to illness at Kamiah.

Lady Pirates win 4 games
The Prairie Lady Pirates won 4 games to finish their regular season. On Tuesday, Jan. 25, they won 67-28 at Orofino. On Thursday, Jan. 27, they beat Clearwater Valley 51-15 at Cottonwood. On Friday they finished up their league scheduled by defeating Potlatch 71-47 on Senior Night at Cottonwood. Finally on Monday, Jan. 31, they traveled to Kendrick and won 46-44 after overcoming an 18 point deficit. . . .

Patriots win twice; Lady Patriots win 2 of 3
The St. John Bosco boys basketball team was finally able to get back on the court on Friday, Jan. 28 after a hiatus due to illness and beat Salmon River 54-37 at Cottonwood. They then played a rescheduled game against Deary Monday, Jan. 31 at Cottonwood and won 45-42 to gain a season split against the Mustangs. . . .
The St. John Bosco Lady Patriots made it 4 straight wins when they won at Timberline 34-8 on Tuesday, Jan. 25, and at Highland 42-19 on Thursday, Jan. 27. They then picked up a loss when they hosted Deary on Monday, Jan. 31, 22-46. . . .

He will be in the same league as former teammates Cole Martin and Dean Johnson who are at the College of Idaho and Spencer Schumacher who is at Montana Tech.
