The Prairie Community Library will continue to have story time every Tuesday at 10 a.m. through the summer month. Make sure to come in this summer and sign up for the summer reading program. There will be many reading incentive prizes including water park passes to the Asotin Aquatics Center. The photo above shows a record number of youngsters who showed up at the May 19 story time. Joe Riener shared this powerful photo he took after the Memorial Day services in 2018 when he went back to the Ferdinand Cemetery to raise the flag from half mast back to the top. Wind that day had moved the flag so that it touched the outstretched arm of Jesus on the Cross. Click on the photo for a larger view.
