With Saturday, July 4 being
the 250th anniversary of the United States, Heather and Maurice Seubert
shared some photos from the bicentennial parade held in Cottonwood on
July 4, 1976. The top photo shows the color guard and Prairie High
School band on Broadway alongside Arnzen Drug. The second photo shows
the PHS band. In the third photo is a covered wagon. In the fourth
photo is a horse drawn wagon with a farmer and a plow on the back. The
fifth photo is a flag float with Uncle Sam ringing the bell on the
back. The bottom photo is a close-up of Uncle Sam who turned out to be
a young Maurice Seubert. The Seuberts were hoping some of the other
