Fifth graders Lindsay Heitman and Silas Whitley were the local Tar Wars poster contest winners. Their entries will be sent to Boise to compete in the state contest. The Tar Wars anti-tobacco program was presented in the school last month.


Prairie Elementary's Odyssey of the Mind group visited the Ahsahka Fish Hatchery. In the top photo they check out one of the tanks while the lower photo shows the whole group.

Laurel Henry, left, and Whitney Sonnen were February's attendance winners of "Lunch with the Principal" at Prairie Elementary.

Summit Academy students rehearse for their production of "Robin Hood" which will be at the old Summit Academy building March 26-27 with performances at 7:30 both days plus a 2 p.m. performance on Saturday.

John and Becky Gehring with the tools Mr. Richardson was able to purchase for the Industrial Technology program with a gift certificate donated by their father, Bruce Gehring. Bruce saved Wix fitler box tops to earn the certificate.
