Prairie Elementary receives award
The Idaho Education Association May 13  honored a local school at a special awards ceremony held to recognize local educators, parents, and community member for their efforts to strengthen public education. The IEA presented the award during a school visit in Cottonwood.

Primary Election is Tuesday

Fourth graders performed on recorders during the the A+ award ceremonies.

Holli Uhlorn was one of over 50 children to get their picture taken during the KidCare ID event sponsored by St. Mary's Hospital. KidCare helps make sure parents have a current photo of their child available should there ever be a need to have one.

Cottonwood Mayor Denis Duman was the commencement speaker for the monthly graduation at NICI's Robert Janss School. He is shown with graduate Wes Shira. Duman spoke to the 33 inmates receiving the GEDs.
