The first baby of 2008 born at St. Mary’s Hospital is Kameil Lynne Doney, daughter of Kasha Green and Clinton Doney of Kooskia. Kameil arrived at 7:12 p.m. on Tuesday, January 1 and weighed 6 lb. 2 oz. She is their first child. 

A fundraising effort is underway to fix the roof at Holy Cross Church. See article above left.
 
In September, Calista Karel, right, and Gina Seubert auditioned and were chosen out of 1,200 applicants from all over the state of Idaho. All-State Honor Choir will be held in Pocatello January 23-26. There will be a Treble & Mixed Choir performing. The Choral Performance is at 2:00 p.m. on the 26th of January at the Stephens Performing Arts Center. The Cost of admission is $5 for adults and $3 for Students. The overall expense for each participant is about $350.00. If you are interested in helping sponsor these girls, contact the school or Miss Stauffer @ 962-3901.
