In the top photo Carson Heath is awarded a certificate recognizing him as the recipient of the $1000 Soroptimist's scholarship. In the lower photo he is shown with his parents Gordon Heath and Theresa Carter after receiving the  award. See story at left.

Chris Kaschmitter of the Prairie Booster Club presents a $1000 check to Rene’ Forsmann, principal at Prairie Middle School. The money is to go toward new scoreclocks. They also received $1500 from the 5th & 6th grade basketball program and $2000 from Pepsi. The school appreciates the contributions.

Chris Kaschmitter of the Prairie Booster Club presents checks to PHS athletic director Travis Mader. They are for the home game 3-pointers made by the PHS varsity basketball teams: $1 for each, $60 for the boys and $46 for the girls. Money will go into the respective basketball programs.

Martina Everson and Colter Renee’ are March’s attendance winners.  Colter received a fishing pole with gummy worms while Martin received a photo album with a decorative candle.
 
Student body president, Makayla Schaeffer, and vice president, Megan Sigler, handed Leslie Nida an envelope for $100.00.  The student body and staff collected money to help defer costs for her father while he is going through treatment.
