Santa Claus listened intently to this young lady’s Christmas wish list at “Santa’s Cabana” after the Christmas Parade on Sunday.

Prairie High School and Middle School Bands and Choirs grades 5 - 12 performed their annual winter concert bringing holiday cheer and music to Cottonwood this past Wednesday evening. Photo provided by John Eynon. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Mrs. Vanderwall's 5th grade students wanted to find a way to help needy people. With the help of Mrs. Lundmark they decided on making Christmas ornaments, scarves and hats and then selling them at the Christmas concert.  Mrs. Lundmark made Christmas cakes and students brought in cookies and together students collected $176.00 for the Giving Tree at St. Mary' Hospital.  Dakota Wilson, representing the Student Council; Haley Enneking and Haley Gortsema;  representing the 5th grade students presented the money to Cheri Holthaus.

The Fundamentals of Technology Classes are displaying the toys for Christmas they built for the pre school children and the St. Mary’s Christmas Gift baskets.  In the above photo are Alex Stefan, Callie Mader, Nick Shears, Matt Jungert, Brandee Seubert, Tyler Latimer, Levi Lustig, Garrett Schmidt, Hope Vanator, Kelsey Tidwell, Tyler Workman, Shelby VonBargen, Chris Hoene, and Cody Tillinghast.
