Joyce Gehring-Sonnen of Blue Camas Salon, Cottonwood, cuts Judy Salisbury’s hair at the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life held in Grangeville last year.  Hair will again be cut at the July 16-17, 2010 Clearwater to Salmon River Relay for Life in Grangeville.   Hair will be donated to the “Beautiful Lengths” program, funded by Pantene and the American Cancer Society, to make wigs for cancer survivors.  Contact Tami Quick, 983-6505 with questions. Kim Harman of Cottonwood competed at the Camas Prairie Trapshoot at Walla Walla March 20-21 and won the Handicap New Shooter Singles High Lady award. She had never shot at registered birds before but got some pointers from some veteran shooters in her group that helped her to the win.

SMHC is sponsoring their second Komen for the Cure Ladies Night Out on April 15th.  The event will focus on activity, exercise and women’s health.  Stephanie Wagner, SMH Clinics Coordinator, is one of the event planners.  Women’s wellness exams will also be available.  Appointments can be made by calling 962-3267.
