Congratulations to our February Students of the Month: High School Students: Austin Sonnen:  Austin, center in photo, works hard and independently.  He always has a smile on his face and is kind to all students and staff. The Kindness Rocks group is for 4-5-6th graders at PES. They do monthly activities and also do monthly service projects. The service project for February was a food drive to help fill up the shelves at the local food bank. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Molly Schwartz was selected Chapter winner for the Daughters of the American Revolution Essay Contest held in November.  The theme for this year's contest was " Forgotten Patriots Who Struggled for Independence. Molly was honored at a banquet Feb. 16th at the Masonic Temple in Lewiston.  Molly is the daughter of Annemarie and Jared  Schwartz and is a 7th grader at Prairie Jr./Sr. High.
 
Rachel Gimmeson and Damian Forsmann enjoyed lunch at the Country Haus with principal Rene’ Forsmann.  They were February attendance winners at Prairie Elementary School. Click on the photo for a larger view.
 
In appreciation of all the local skiers this year, the Cottonwood Ski Butte gave away 4 free passes to some lucky elementary students.
