The Tri-Parish Youth see service to other as priority to serving God.  The youth fasted for 30 hours in September to raise money for the less fortunate of the world.  They collected $2, 500 in donation for Catholic relief services and World Vision.  (Front) Rosie Trautman, Emma Gehring, Darlene Gehring, Noelle Uhlenkott, Theresa Wemhoff, Drew Dinning, Faith Uhlenkott, Kace Munger, Amanda Dinning. For Thanksgiving the youth group decided to make and deliver 5 full Thanksgiving dinners to people throughout the parishes along with 10 baskets to show appreciation, love, and support for the people of our communities. Photo provided by Debbie Chicane. Click on the photo for a larger view.

During a timeout in the boys game against Grangeville we took a shot of the Prairie decorations on the north wall for the Idaho County Shootout. The large banner at left shows the school fight song while one of the smallest may have been the best. In answer to a Grangeville banner that talked about them bleeding blue and white, there’s a banner just below the B16 one that says, “We bleed red. Like normal people.” Click on the photo for a larger view.

The Junior class is putting on a family movie night at the Prairie High School on December 12th, starting at 6:00pm.  They are showing Inside Out, the Maze Runner, Iron Man 1, and Elf.  It is just $3 to get in the door and families pay no more than $15. There will be concessions of cookies, brownies, chips, and lemonade. All are invited to a good time at the Prairie High School on December 12th. Click on the  photo for a larger view.

There were dodgeball games during halftimes of the two Grangeville-Prairie games. The top photo shows the team made up of teachers and coaches from Prairie and Grangeville. They beat a student team during halftime of the boys game and then beat the law enforcement team, lower photo, during halftime of the girls game. Click on each photo for a larger view.
