Lady Pirates take second at State
For the third consecutive year the Prairie Lady Pirates have finished second at State, all three times losing to Lapwai in the championship game.
They opened the tournament with a 66-26 blowout win over Liberty Charter of Nampa at Columbia High School in Nampa Thursday, Feb. 16. On Friday they knocked off Horseshoe Bend 54-37 to advance to their fourth straight championship game appearance. That game was also at Columbia High School. On Saturday at the Ford Idaho Center, Prairie was defeated by Lapwai 40-79. . . .
