Lady Pirates win twice
The Prairie Lady Pirates won a pair of games  over teams with Bulldog mascots last week. On Tuesday, Dec. 3 they beat Genesee 57-33 in a league game at Cottonwood. On Friday, Dec. 6, they avenged their only loss so far this season by beating Grangeville 43-34 in the Idaho County Shootout which was held at Cottonwood this year. . . .

Prairie students celebrate winning the student body competition at the Idaho County Shootout. The two schools combined to raise about $17,249 for the Food Banks. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Madison Shears did the Pink Out Volleyball game for her Senior Project and raised $1,250 that was donated to the SMH Foundation for the hospital. Kim Johnson is shown accepting the check.  We so appreciate them doing this for us every year and it always goes to support important project in the hospital and helps us support community projects as well. Caleb McGee, Hayden Uhlenkott, Zac Arnzen, Carson Forsman, Dalton Ross and Reid Uptmor helped Jake Forsmann deliver nearly 3000 cans of food to the Cottonwood Food Bank Monday.
