At the statewide Republic Party Winter Meeting in Boise, January 8, one of our own was inducted into the Idaho Republican Party Hall of Fame. In recognition of her 50 years of volunteer leadership in support of freedom, individual responsibility, capitalism and the American Way, Marge Arnzen was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Idaho Republican Party’s highest honor, and with it enters the rarified air of the Republican Hall of Fame. Spanning 5 decades, she was recognized for her relentless involvement in dozens of Republican political campaigns, local and statewide, and her leadership of the party at both the local and regional level. Marge is one of only three Idaho inductees for the year 2022.  Tom Luna, Idaho Republican Party Chair, presented the award, and his congratulations, to the Idaho County delegation at the Winter Meeting. Sidney Kehler, Troy Uhlenkott, and Kohen Forsmann joined Mr. Rehder for Lunch with the Principal at The Hangout on Monday, January 24th for having their names drawn in the December R3 assembly.  They were treated with a complimentary ice cream cone to end their lunch by owners Michael and Candice Van Loon, they are great Prairie Pirate supporters.  Photo provided by Jon Rehder. The Prairie high sewing class would like to take this opportunity to thank the many generous donors to our program this past year.  Thank you - Dina Nuxoll, Doug Sellers, Barb Jones, Millie Wimer, Katie Remacle, Judy Forsman, Renee Verdino, and Colleen Sonnen for the beautiful fabric and sewing notions.  We want to especially thank Greg and Colleen Sonnen for the financial gift that allowed us to purchase the two additional sewing machines shown in this photo.  We are truly blessed by your thoughtfulness and generosity.  Thank you, the 2021-2022 PHS Sewing Class.  The students are shown with baby blankets they designed and donated to St. Mary’s Hospital.
