Approximately 100 people turned out for the Rosary Rally held in Cottonwood on Saturday in honor of Our Lady of Fatima on the 100th anniversary of Mary appearing to the three children. There were songs and prayers as the people marched into the downtown area. Our Lady’s message 100 years ago to the children was, “Let them offend Our Lord no more for He is already much offended.” That message still rings true today. The top photo is the procession leaving St. Mary’s Church in Cottonwood. The lower photo shows Conrad Duman, David Wassmuth, Neil Wassmuth, and Anthony Karel carrying the statue of Mary. All are parishioners of the Tri-Parish Churches. Photos by Virgil Wassmuth Click on each photo for a larger view.
