The Idaho County Princess Tea Party, which took place on March 19th at the community hall, was a huge success! The Idaho County Fair Royalty would like to thank all of the little princess's and their parents who participated in the event, along with our adviser Karla Enneking, who helped us  organized the whole event. We hope that everyone had a good time and thank you again for making the event possible! Photo provided by Selena Davila. Click on the photo for a larger view.

The Prairie boys basketball players who received awards last Friday, March 24. Front from left are Brandon Anderson, varsity co-captain and defensive player; Lucas Wemhoff, varsity Pirate award; Tanner Hibbard, JV defensive player and Dylan Schumacher, JV assists award, co-captain and co-MVP. Back from left are Carson Schmidt, JV most improved and Pirate award; Spencer Schumacher Varsity 6th man and idahosports.com state tournament 6th man; Devin Ross, JV steals, co-captain and co-MVP; Gavin Branson, varsity assists leader; Tyson Schlader, varsity steals, co-captain and all-star game selection; Hunter Chaffee, varsity co-captain, offensive player, idahosports.com 2nd team all-state tournament; state 2nd team and all-WPL team; Derik Shears, JV rebounds award; and Patrick Chmelik, varsity rebounds, MVP, idahosports.com 2nd team all-state tournament team; 2nd team all-state; District 2 all-star participant; Border Battle all-star participant. Also of note, a couple weeks ago we speculated Chaffee had set a school record for 3-pointers with 63. Coach Kevin Chaffee said their stats had him with 65 on 42% shooting from 3-point range. We can’t say for sure it’s a school record but we can’t remember any Prairie player who was as consistent game-to-game from beyond the arc as Chaffee was this season.
