The Prairie girls crosscountry team placed 2nd at District and qualified for the State Meet this Saturday at Eagle Island State Park west of Eagle. The new exhibit at the Historical Museum at St. Gertrude features a replica of Sister Alfreda Elsensohn’s original attic museum. A free open house takes place this Thursday at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. See article at left. Click on the photo for a larger view.

The Prairie Lady Pirates may not be going to State to play this year but will still bring home some hardware. The IHSAA has recognized the Prairie Pirate Volleyball Team as the 2017 Academic Champions. The team had a cumulative GPA of a 3.912. They will be recognized at the State Tournament which will be in Lewiston this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27-28.
