| Pirates out in 2 at District For the second straight year the Prairie
Pirates lasted just 2 games at the District Tournament. On Wednesday,
Feb. 19, they traveled to Lapwai and lost 49-50 in double overtime.
They had a bye for the second round and on Monday, Feb. 24, they faced
Logos and lost 41-58 at Lewiston High School.

Lady Pirates take second at State The Prairie Lady Pirates had 2 blowout wins
and then lost to finish second at the 2A Girls State Tournament. On
Thursday, Feb. 20, they opened against Liberty Charter and rolled to a
64-22 win. On Friday, Feb. 21, they play Valley and posted a relatively
easy 69-40 win over the #3 seeded Vikings. Both of those games were
played at Columbia High School in Nampa. Finally on Saturday, they
faced #1 seeded Oakley at the Idaho Center and lost 51-62.

| Deary ends St. John Bosco's season The St. John Bosco Patriots won one loser-out game at District but lost the second one as their season came to an end.
On Thursday, Feb. 20, they hosted
Highland and had their biggest scoring game of the season in a 73-53
win. On Saturday, Feb. 22, they traveled to Deary where they kept it
close with the Mustangs before losing 50-58.
