Pirates win 5 straight The Prairie Pirates have put together a
5-game winning streak. They started with a 31-4 win over Nezperce on
Tuesday, April1 5 at Cottonwood. On Thursday, April 17, they won 18-2
at Nezperce. On Saturday, April 19, they traveled to Genesee and swept
the Bulldogs 8-5 and 25-8. Finally on Monday, April 21, they traveled

Lady Pirates win twice The Prairie Lady Pirates put together their
first winning streak of the season as they won twice last week. On
Tuesday, April 15, they hosted Lewis County and won 20-10. On Thursday,
April 17, they hosted Lapwai and won 33-8.

Trenton Lorentz
takes the baton from Ben Secrest in the 4x100 relay at state last May,
one of 4 gold medals and 4 state meet records he was a part of. He was
named the 1A-3A boys track athlete of the year at the North Idaho Hall
of Fame Banquet Saturday, April 12. The banquet was held in Coeur
d’Alene.

 A fundraiser is
set for next Friday, May 2 at the Elks in Grangeville for the 5 HOSA
students at Prairie that are heading to Nationals at Nashville in June
