The Prairie track team came away from the State Track Meet with 6 first place finishes, many other medals and second place team trophies for both the boys and girls teams.  Alaina Lustig, Maddie Von Bargen, Mesa Graning, Matthew Jones and Xena Feldman took part in "Student Voices: Prairie Poetry & Art" at the city library on 5/13/25 celebrating its 40th year.  Students read original poems they had written either in class or on their own.  The following poems were read by these students Alaina Lustig- "Eternity" , Maddie Von Bargen-"Where the Flowers Bloom", Mesa Graning-"On the Hill" , Matthew Jones "Spring:Nature's Youth"  and Xena Feldman "Changes of Life."  The city library is also currently exhibiting student artwork from Prairie Jr/Sr high art students. Photos by Matt Elven.  Click on each photo for a larger view.
