The Friends of 4-H Lifetime Achievement Award winners at the 2025 Idaho County Fair were from left: Dylan Klapprich, Drill Set; Mikayla Rowland, Sewing Machine; Halee Rowland, Mixer and Catherine Seubert, Luggage. The drill set for top construction projects is a new award this year. The sewing machine is for top constructed clothing projects. The mixer is for top foods projects and the luggage is for top Making the Most of Me projects. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Julie Haringa, Idaho North Central District coordinator of Fit and Fall Proof recently visited the Cottonwood group.  Developed in Idaho in 2004, Fit and Fall Proof is an exercise-based fall prevention program for older adults that focuses on improving strength, mobility and balance to reduce an older adult’s risk of falling. Local leader Linda Arnzen, Mary Funke, Sue Crea and Zelda Henderson are trained to teach classes in standard exercises to improve health and fitness.  Pictured back from left are Gladys Sonnen, Connie Uhlenkott, Bonnie Smith, Sue Snodgrass, Cheryl Westhoff, Patti Greene, Kim Wilson, Norm Schnider.
